* Existing home - Artwork(accent), task and ambient lighting
Calcon Lighting accentuates artwork or collections. Design includes detail of fixtures, positioning and wiring. Most live in a previously owned house or one built to a generic design. Often simply adapting the lighting to lifestyle and décor make a significant change. Major improvements can also be simple bulb changes & dimming. New products & techniques make it possible to light the most difficult item usually with no follow up patching or painting.

* Remodel
We work with contractors to provide ideas for lighting & suggestions as to types of fixtures. This service is typically requested when the design work and architectural plans are not sufficient and/or changes have been made during framing.

* New construction
In new construction projects, we work with the architect & owner to design the lighting details for incorporation into the overall plans. We obtain information on room usage, art pieces, reading locations, furniture placement, etc. This detailed assessment reduces the unexpected changes & resulting costs later in the project.

Full lighting plans (drawings) are provided to the architect/builder for incorporation into the mechanical plans. These plans are extremely detailed and include specific information that far exceeds the average electrical plan.

* Landscape Lighting (residential)
Calcon Lighting works with the homeowner to create a picturesque outdoor lighting effect. We handle projects from design to completion. (See Landscape section)
